iPod

Today is the letter I, and I'm feeling lazy.

Of course I will be listening to my iPod while my mom and I trek it to Colorado. My sister told me that my iPod was full of lullabies, not driving music. Please give me suggestions for songs to download that are "driving songs". Any genre, decade, etc, and I'll give them a listen.

I'm loving the new Gnarls Barkley album - The Odd Couple. Can't get enough. Would probably make good driving tunes as well. (I use Amazon a lot for my downloads)

In college, our "official" road trip song was "The Distance" by Cake. We'd always play it when someone was first starting a driving shift, and again when they got close to the end.

Link to lyrics, if you're not familiar: http://www.asklyrics.com/display/CAKE/The_Distance_Lyrics/16671.htm

"Keep On Lovin' You"

Anything from the Dixie Chicks (c'mon, you're moving to Colorado! Is there anything less perfect than "Wide Open Spaces"?)

Anything from Idina Menzel--she's my girl crush. :-)

Ummm...those are my road trip choices. Sorry, I suck!
